Explore the workBased in West Yorkshire, Helena finds a starting point in the things she notices: a shape in the sky, a quiet moment, an ordinary day that turns a little strange. Her work can be tender, funny, romantic or peculiar. Feeling is the thread that runs through it.
The music moves between ambient indie, alternative rock and slowcore, often returning to piano. Alongside the songs, The Little World of LENA opens a space for illustrated moments and visual stories.
Michael Leonard is Helena’s songwriting collaborator and producer. LENA releases through AIden Studio.
How the work is made
LENA’s music combines human-led songwriting and creative direction with AI-assisted music production. The artwork and visual storytelling are developed as part of the same artist-led creative process.
